The next generation waste reforming and
carbon capture technology
Using our proprietary autothermal steam reforming method, waste is reformed into hydrogen rich syngas without any harmful emissions.
No matter what option fits best to your business needs, we assure you that our technology is:
Climate neutral: BlueRevo delivers net zero carbon or even carbon negative solutions for any carbon-based feedstock, due to its integrated solution with carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS).
Decentralized: The technology is suitable for decentralized solutions to supply energy close to the consumer.
Efficient: The waste reforming technology adds value to biodegradable residue streams and waste from material recovery facilities.
Feedstock flexible: Allowing use of waste as it is received without any special pretreatment like drying or sieving, up to 50% moisture.
Output flexible: Possible to adjust syngas output for combined heat and power applications, or to produce hydrogen with additional methane separation and recovery of food-grade carbon dioxide (CO2).
Scalable: The technology is installed as standardized modules allowing scalability by unit multiplication and improved redundancy.
Fast to operation: BlueRevo offers 4 to 6 months for turn-key installations from order to commissioning.
Cost effective: BlueRevo is confident that it offers the lowest total cost of ownership in the industry due to our combination of overall efficiency, fuel cost, and low downtime.
It’s a journey
A step by step process, from various biodegradable waste streams to renewable energy in the form of syngas, or hydrogen with additional methane separation and recovery of CO2.
Rest product<0.5 tons/h food-grade CO25% ash and biochar from dry matter used as biofertilizer
Note: inputs and outputs are estimated for distinct scenarios of feedstock composition and moisture. Actual KPIs might differ and will be determined during every feasibility study
First validated installation in EU
Our BlueRevo technology has been developed by an international team of engineers with more than 20 years’ experience with gasification and gas cleaning. In joint effort by Hyrogas and Dutch investors an advanced installation was built in 2020 in Latvia. Here our steam autothermal reforming technology is tested and validated by Kiwa, a world top 20 leader in testing, inspection and certification.
The technology is protected by an international patent.
